Join him on his quest. Discover the secrets of the galaxy.
A knight from another time walks the Cyclix Quadrant, gathering companions to resist the agents of Death and the Undying. You are one of those companions. Three worlds lie ahead.
On a phone or tablet, turn it sideways. Put your left thumb down anywhere on the left side and slide it to move: the stick appears where you touch. Slide up to jump, down to drop through ledges. On the right, any touch counts as the nearest button, and you can slide between them without lifting. Gamepads work too: stick or d-pad to move, A to jump, X to strike, B or Y for your power, Start to pause.
Playing together. Choose “Played by a friend” and a second player takes the Traveller. Player one uses A D W S, F to strike and G for power. The Traveller uses the arrow keys, K or . to strike and L or / to loose his beam. A single gamepad goes to the Traveller; with two, the first is player one. The Traveller cannot die: when he falls, he rises again.
Some companions of the Traveller are waiting to be found. Defeat those who stand against him.
Threat rises the longer you linger, and the Undying send more against you. Light the Traveller’s candles to rest, recover a wound and lower the Threat. Candles are also where you rise again if you fall.
Gather the golden relics. Sacraments restore wounds; violet motes restore Will.
Worlds you have reached. Each is a fresh start from its first candle.
The Herald
The Lord of Death has always kept an eye on the Traveller. His Herald stands where the light does not reach: the end to the Traveller’s beginning. He offers the choice he always offers.
The Traveller’s candle still burns. You can rise there, at the cost of a little more Threat.
Epilogue
The Traveller is an unreliable narrator. This may not be how it ended.
